JumBlo Encrypting Security for Windows

JumBlo arose from the need to be able to securely send sensitive data between Siskin headquarters and various project sites
JumBlo came up for those who are in need to transfer in a secure way sensitive data between Siskin headquarters and various project sites. JumBlo was originally developed in the days before encrypted e-mail was commonly available and so usually processes entire files. What started out as a simple utility has over the years become a fully featured Windows program.

JumBlo uses a two-step symmetric encryption process. First the data is broken into random length blocks and the bytes shuffled randomly. Then the Blowfish algorithm is applied. This algorithm is well described in the encryption literature and is commonly regarded as being one of the most secure algorithms around. No successful attack has been reported.

The user can specify keys of up to 88 characters (704 bits). The combination of these factors ensures a highly secure encryption process.

Here are some key features of “JumBlo”:

· Highly secure – up to 704 bit key length
· True in-place encryption – no unencryped data lying around
· Secure audit features
· Extremely fast – over 100 MB/min
· Platform independent algorithm
· Drag and drop
· Full integrated into Explorer
· Encrypt entire folders or even disks
· Works over network
· Crash-recovery tools
· Version available for calling from Visual Basic
