FaJo XP FSE – directly view and change the file access rights (NTFS only) and ownership
FaJo XP File Security Extension (called FSE) is an extension to the context menu provided in the Windows Explorer for files and directories. With this extension you are able to directly view and change the file access rights (NTFS only) and ownership. FSE therefore uses buildin features that are availeble on Windows 2000, XP (even HP Home).

FSE will run on Windows 2000 and XP (or higher) only – including Windows XP Home. To install FSE you will need administrative rights. After successful installation an additional entry “Change security ?.” will show up in the context menu of files and directories. In addition to the menu entry a property sheet is added to the property page of the objects.

FaJo XP FSE will allow a user of Windows XP Home to easilyview/change the access rights on file system objects of NTFS file systems.

The extension therefore provides the security tab known from Windows NT4, Windows 2000 and WIndows XP Pro at the property page of file system objects. For faster access it adds an additional menu item to the context menu of such objects (optional).
