File Phantom application uses encryption, name mangling and file properties in order to hide your files and prevent access by unauthorized users. Getting started with File Phantom is easy with its tutorial walkthrough mode and help text on many of the dialogs on how to proceed.
File Phantom can be used for multiple purposes such as hiding files, hiding and encrypting files and even encrypting files located in specific directories. Files can also be assigned to categories and encrypted or hidden by category.
If you have financial files, large video files or pictures, you may want to only encrypt your financial files and only hide your video and pictures files which is what File Phantom provides the ability to do and even if you only have one type of file, you aren’t required to provide categories.
