MagicDisk is developed to prevent unauthorized access to electronic documents stored on personal computers.
Here are some key features of “MagicDisc”:
· Up to 16 encrypted virtual disks per user to store protected data and up to 10 different usernames. all on a single PC.
· CyberAir’s patented CERBER? password and authentication technology used to control MagicDisk access and authentication.
· Easy use of long passwords (over 256 characters) through CERBER technology.
· CyberAir’s patented flagship MV2 encryption technology as well as support for AES.
· Built-in MagicDisk support for hardware tokens such as Aladdin Knowledge Systems?’ eToken R2? or eToken Pro?. Such tokens can meet or exceed US government requirements for FIP (Federal Information Processing Standards) 140-1 Level 2 and 3 physical protection certification from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). (A hardware token is required for each user and must be purchased separately).
· Real-time transparent encryption and decryption of each user’s protected data.
· Support for changing associative access passwords used to access virtual disks.
· Automatic disk locking at PC shutdown (including non-orderly shutdowns and crashes).
· Support for multiple user profiles per user (making it possible to create hidden disks for additional security).
· Support for camouflaging data files by storing them inside media files.
