PPE/Web is a Password Policy Enforcer add-on that allows users to change their Windows NT and Windows 2000 passwords using a web browser.
PPE/Web communicates with the Password Policy Server to ensure that new passwords comply with the organization’s password policy. A rejection reason message is displayed if the user’s password does not comply with the policy. The rejection reason message helps users to choose a compliant password without having to call the helpdesk for assistance.
PPE/Web is a software that allows you to change passwords.
Network administrators and helpdesk staff can also use PPE/Web to reset forgotten user passwords.

· The initial installation and configuration of PPE/Web should take less than one hour (including the time spent reading the Administrator’s Guide). Subsequent installations of PPE/Web should only take a few minutes.

· Zero client install
· PPE/Web does not install any scripts, applets or active-x controls on the client computer. The default user interface does contain some JavaScript to simplify navigation, but this can be removed if necessary. PPE/Web will work with any forms capable web browser.

· Administrators and helpdesk staff can use PPE/Web to reset forgotten user passwords.
