The Suspicious File Locator application was designed to be a small tool helps us finding files that do use typical CoolWebSearch characteristics.
When you’re infected with a new variant of CWS and mail one of our detectives, he may ask you to run it to scan for suspicious files that could be CWS (just enter the search path and press the button as can be seen on the screenshot), and mail them back to him. The results will be stored in an archive file on the desktop, named suspicious-files.cab.
Update: if you right-click on the scan button (move your mouse over that button and use the right mouse button), SFL will allow you to do an ADS scan as well. The file created from those results will be named suspicious-ads-files.cab.
