Unlike blocking programs such as Net Nanny, Cybersitter, SafeSurf, or CyberPatrol that cost $40 or more, Pornblocker does not require you to install any special software that will slow down your browser and/or create system instability.
Pornblocker is a small PICS rules file that takes advantage of the built-in Content Advisor feature of Internet Explorer 6. So you don’t have to learn how to use another software package. Inexpensive, simple, fast. Please note that, due to a bug in Internet Explorer 5 and earlier, Pornblocker may not work on these older browsers.
